Barbados is known as a quality destination for diving. Scuba diving here is multi-faceted, with flourishing reefs and a superb selection of wrecks. It is home to a number of rare species that can often be difficult to see elsewhere in the world.

Barbados is blessed with conditions that favour diving all year round. Most of the diving takes place on the west and south coast barrier and fringing reefs: from Maycocks Bay on the north-west coast to South Winds fringe in the south-west. There is an incredible diversity of marine life on these healthy brightly coloured coral reefs.
