Student Visas
Student visas must be obtained by any non-nationals desirous of studying in Barbados. Unlike visitor visas, these are only issued by the Barbados Immigration Department. The privilege of studying at one of our prestigious schools is well worth the US$150 you will pay to have your application processed, and this will take approximately 4-6 weeks, so plan accordingly.
To apply for a student visa:
2. Submit the form, a valid passport, and four passport sized photographs to Barbados' Chief Immigration Officer. Immigration Department contact information can be found at the end of the entry requirements page.
3. If the parent(s) reside(s) in Barbados, proof of (the parents) valid work permit should accompany the application.
