Born here in 1943, Andy grew up in Trinidad, St. Lucia and Barbados. She has a B. Ed in early childhood education specializing in art. Married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren, retired from teaching and widowed, she took up art seriously. Her watercolours of Barbadian life are very popular. Her use of bright colours draws people to her work. She currently lives in a chattel-like styled wooden cottage, where she has her studio.
