It's a very Bajan thing to head off to market on Saturday mornings, as early as possible. Some of us think this traditional, authentic shopping experience is the best one, and with markets and hucksters all over it's easy to find fresh local produce.

Mingling with the locals in the public markets is a great way to experience Barbados! Some markets start to buzz as early as 5:30 a.m. and go on all day with friendly banter above the trays almost breaking down with lovely produce. As the Bajan vendors say, "Who callin?"
